My co-author and colleague, Mark Coopersmith, and I hosted a workshop on corporate innovation for Avery Dennison’s global leadership team, sharing our research and perspectives from writing The Other “F” Word: How Smart Leaders, Teams, and Entrepreneurs Put Failure To Work. The company has a distinguished track record of leadership in the product labeling, adhesives, RFID and specialty medical products industries. We were honored to compare notes with them on creative approaches to leverage that rich tradition in accelerating innovation on several fronts.
